Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a native of Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her father, a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born 5 May, 1998 in Minsk Belarus. The 12 WTA singles titles comprise one Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. She is also an excellent doubles player. She's won two more Majors to this specialty that include the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both together with Elise Mertens. Together with Mertens, the Belgian tennis player she was a WTA 1000s winner in Indian Wells in 2019 and Miami. Only four couples were able to make it happen in women's doubles. The world's singles ranking rose again to its highest position on January 20, 2023. As a doubles player, she was able to propel herself to the top of the list in February of the same year, following the win in Melbourne being the first tennis player born in Belarus to be a part of the sport of doubles. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach from 2018, until her season came to an end in 2019, and also for a short time at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann and her were in a brief relationship from August to September 2020. Antonio Dubrov has been her coach from 2020. Her idols include Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
